Qualifications

Countybank provides several options to qualify for this account and to avoid a monthly fee:

An average daily balance of $5,000 in the Preferred account; or
An average daily balance of $10,000 in total consumer deposit accounts (any combination of other checking, savings, money market accounts and certificates of deposit); or
An average daily outstanding loan balance of $10,000 in total consumer loan accounts (any combination of installment loans, home equity lines of credit and in-house real estate/mortgage loans); or
Investable assets of $100,000 or more with Countybank Trust Services; or
Investable assets of $100,000 or more with Countybanc Investments.
If account relationship requirements are not met, account holders are subject to a $30 monthly fee.

More Info

The second checking account is a Free Checking account provided as an additional account with no minimum balance requirement or account fees with a qualifying Preferred account. A $20 monthly fee will be charged in the event the Preferred Checking account is no longer maintained or is closed.

For ATM fee refunds, it is the intention of Countybank to credit your Preferred Checking account with an amount equal to the surcharge fee assessed by other financial institutions when you use non-Countybank ATM's. We will refund surcharges assessed by other financial institutions as well as our own foreign ATM fees. Since the surcharge is automatically debited from your account by other financial institutions as part of the ATM transaction, Countybank does not have access to the exact dollar amount of the surcharge. Therefore, on occasion, your account may be credited for an amount greater than or less than the amount of the actual surcharge fee. On the occasion that you are not credited for an ATM surcharge, contact Customer Service at 864-942-1524, and we will credit your account by the next business day.

ATM and point of sale limits are increased with customer authorization, unless customer requests otherwise.

Preferred rates on installment loans are subject to credit approval. Rate may vary based on several factors including credit history, amount, and term of loan.
