Our Privacy Commitment to You

We recognize, respect and protect the personal privacy rights of all our customers. We realize that our customers entrust us with personal information and it is our policy to maintain our customers' information in a confidential manner. The TCB Corporation family of companies are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers' personal information, as well as personal information of all consumers who visit our institution and website. The TCB Corporation family of companies (defined as our affiliate companies) includes Countybank (which includes Banking, Mortgage and Trust Services), Countybanc Insurance Services, Inc., Countybanc Investment Services, Inc., First Palmetto Mortgage, Inc. and Greenwood Capital Associates, LLC.

Confidentiality and Security of Nonpublic Personal Information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. Occasionally, where we believe you will receive additional value, we will share information with third parties that perform marketing services on our behalf through joint marketing and service providers. In accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, we are providing you with the option to elect to exclude your non~public personal information from files provided to outside companies or marketing firms. If you become a former customer, we may disclose the following kinds of nonpublic personal information about you:

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we have a right to share information regarding our transactions or experiences with you. Unless you instruct us otherwise, we also have the right to share any other information about you with our affiliates (persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, now or in the future) either directly or indirectly. This other information may include, but is not limited to, application information, credit reports from a consumer reporting agency, and any other information we have about you. If you do not want us to share this other information with our affiliates you may utilize the opt out methods set forth below.

Your Choice to Limit Marketing

Federal law gives you the right to limit some but not all marketing from our affiliates. Federal law also requires us to give you this notice to tell you about your choice to limit marketing from our affiliates. You may limit our affiliates (listed in first paragraph) from marketing their products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. This other information may include, but is not limited to, application information, including your income; your account history with us; credit reports from a consumer reporting agency, including your credit score; and any other information we have about you. Your choice to limit marketing offers from our affiliates will apply until you notify us of a change. At any later point you choose to opt in, you will receive a renewal notice that will allow you to limit marketing offers from our affiliates from that point forward.

Financial Products or Services to Which Your Opt Out Applies If you elect to opt out of information sharing we will treat that opt out as applying to all financial products or services that you have obtained from us in the past or that you may obtain from us in the future.

Your Right to Opt Out of Information Sharing

If you prefer that we not disclose information not solely related to transactions or experiences with you to our affiliated companies, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). We will treat an opt out direction by any joint account holder as applying to all parties on the account. You may notify us of your intent to opt out of affiliate sharing by using one of the following methods.

You have choices when it comes to being informed about offers and services from us. You can elect not to receive marketing offers by direct mail, telemarketing and/or email. If we do not receive notice of your intent to opt out of information sharing with our affiliated companies within 30 days of delivery of this notice to you, we are authorized to disclose information about you to our affiliated companies in accordance with our privacy policies and practices.
